KayTee (DaVoice)

Born Katanya L. Myers, this young lady hails from the Queen City of Plainfield, NJ. 

Since the age of 2yrs old she's been showcasing her vocal talents in church & family events. At the age of 12 she started writing her own poetry & lyrics performing in local talent shows in her city & writing for local recording studios. 

Now doing a combination of singing & rapping she's well on her way to being what the industry has been missing from a female artist. KT a.k.a KayTee (which is a longtime childhood nickname) states "MC's seem to be too focused on punch lines, what happened to the storytellers? I wanna be able to give you a combination & still be relevant." 

KayTee released her 1st Solo Mixtape at the top of 2010 titled "Dat Ol Thang Back" which has already creating a buzz on such sites as Datpiff.com & ThatCrack.com. She says "It's a slow grind but im confident it will reach the right people who hopefully wanna bring dat ol thang back too lol." 

Other projects/features with KayTee are the "Mr. & Mrs. Hitz Mixtape" featured on DatPiff.com, Chanj's "in the name of ...YOU Mixtape", Ghetto Pros "Divas Of Hip Hop" which is featured on ThatCrack.com, & most recently, Lenny Harold’s “You Da Best”, Authentik’s “Tell Me.”
